First of all, let’s start with the answer to the question that worries the capital’s guests the most: what was going on at the Maydan during the Revolution of Dignity or, how it’s also called, the Euro-Revolution? You’ll see the places where the snipers were shooting down the protesters as well as the photographs of how the Maydan looked like just three years ago. During the Military tour, we’ll visit one of the biggest museums in Ukraine – the Museum of World War II. The museum’s collection accounts for 300 thousand unique exhibits telling the stories of that terrible war.
It includes: the museum and the monument “Motherland”, the main square with the Avenue of the cities-heroes and the sculptural compositions “Forced crossing of Dnieper” and “Transfer of weapons”, the high relief compositions “Heroes of battlefront and home front”, the bowl “Fire of glory”, the exhibition of military equipment and weapons of the 1940s, a separate building where the expositions “Tragedy and valor of Afgan” and “In foreign wars” as well as the open to visitors transport aeroplane Li-2, helicopter Mi-24B and jet fighter MiG-23 are displayed.
After that, we’ll walk up to the viewing platform of one of the primary symbols of Kiev – the Motherland monument. It’s the most memorizable item of the museum and one of the biggest sculptures in the world. By the way, it has been already visited by 22 million people. Here there are things worth looking at!

I have visited Kiev with Tatiana by Walking for 4 hours and I've learnt a lot about the culture, the religion, the war's history and monuments also. It was very good and thanks to that I will continue to improve my knowledge. It's the first time I've seen a capital so calm even in the downtown with so much trees and vegetations (trust me : I have travel a lot due to my work). Thanks again Tatiana for this cultural and refreshing's visit.
