Hello, dear guests! My name is Galyna, and it will be my honour and pleasure to be your guide during your visit to Kiev, my favourite city on Earth. I came here in the age of 17 when entered to the most ancient university in Kiev, Kiev Mohila Academy, and immediately started to explore the city with the group of my friends: young archaeologists, historians, artists… ones who are just as crazy as I am about Kiev. Since early 2000-th exploring Kiev and writing about it became my passion. I already have two of my books published, and I’m in the process of writing the third one. I want to make it attractive not only for Ukrainians but also for the international public, from this point of view, responding to your interests while touring Kiev teaches me a lot.

There is a common expression: “If only stones could speak…” Unfortunately, they can’t, but for sure I will. We will walk at a comfortable for your pace and will talk about the city, observing beautiful places and unforgettable views. Because of my excellent humanitarian, academic background, I have just a little library accumulated in my head on the history, ideology and art of Europe, Ukraine and Kiev. Travelling and studying all around the globe gives me an even broader context. I will not tire you with names and dates, but if you will have any desire to discuss with me structural, ideological or mental transformation of Kiev and its inhabitants appeared during the last couple of millennia, you are with a right person to do it. But, if you prefer, I will tell you only legends and exciting stories about the picturesque corners of the city.

There are no the same tours with me as a guide. Everything depends on your preferences, mood and even the weather. Maybe we together will discover something entirely new because life here never stops. I can guarantee that the experience you will get here will be very special, personal, pleasant, and unforgettable.
